Cabbage Au Vin Au Mushrooms
|Cabbage head||2 Medium, sliced or quartered|
|Onions||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Garlic||2 Teaspoon, chopped|
|Dried mint||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dry white wine||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Salt pig shoulder/Smoked pig tail/pickled pork||1⁄2 Pound|
|Louisiana hot sauce/Red pepper||To Taste|
|Mushrooms||1 Pound, washed|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Brown meat a little.
Put cabbage in deep pot along with mushrooms.
Pour in wine, water, and all seasonings.
Bring to a boil and then simmer slowly until the cabbage is tender.
