KALE AND APPLE
|Kale/Savoy cabbage||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Wash and pick over the kale, removing the stalks.
A savory cabbage can be used instead in which case quarter and remove core.
Peel and core the apples.
Place the vegetables in little salted boiling water and simmer gently until they are soft but not mushy.
Drain well and place in warmed dish.
Sprinkle with pepper and pour over the juice of 1/2 lemon.
