Cabbage With Nuts
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Nuts||1⁄4 Pound, chopped|
1. Remove damaged leaves and hard stem; finely shred the good part of cabbage.
2. In a heavy pan, heat butter and sauté shredded cabbage for 10 minutes until it begins to color.
3. Add lemon juice, sugar and seasonings; cover the pan and let cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
4. After 15 minutes, check if the cabbage is very dry and add more butter if required.
5. Cook for another 20 minutes.
6. Stir in nuts and serve hot.
