Sweet And Sour Red Cabbage

Ingredients
  Brown sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Cold water 3 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 3 Tablespoon
  Dry red wine 3 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Cooking oil 1 Tablespoon
  Red cabbage head 1⁄2 Small, shredded to make 4 cups
  Apple 1 Medium, cored and chopped to make 1 cup
Directions

For sauce, stir together brown sugar, water, vinegar, wine, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
Set aside.
Preheat a wok or large skillet over high heat; add cooking oil.
(Add more oil as necessary during cooking.) Stir-fry cabbage in hot oil for 1 minute.
Add apple; stir-fry about 1 minute or till cabbage is crisp-tender.
Push vegetable mixture from center of the wok.
Stir sauce; add to center of the wok or skillet.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir for 1 minute more.
Stir in vegetable mixture to coat with sauce.
Serve immediately.
