Braised Curried Savoy Cabbage With Toasted Peanuts
|Vegetable oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Curry powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Onions||1 Large, finely sliced (or 2 small)|
|Chicken broth/Water||3 Tablespoon|
|Savoy cabbage||2 Pound, finely shredded (1 head)|
|Toasted peanuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
In a 12-inch skillet, heat the oil and stir in the curry powder until blended.
Add the onion; when it's sizzling, add the broth and cabbage.
Cook over medium heat, stirring, until slightly wilted, about 2 minutes.
Add more liquid if needed.
Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, an additional 6 minutes, until tender-crisp.
Sprinkle with peanuts and serve.
