|For the same amount of cabbage, use:|
|Dried mushrooms||2 , simmered in very little water until soft, then chopped|
|Boneless pork||1⁄2 Pound, chopped|
|Rice/Pearl barley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cooked according to directions on box|
|Onion||1 Medium, minced and sautéed until golden brown|
|Water/Bouillon||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Reserve liquid from the mushrooms for use in cooking.
Combine all the ingredients, mix thoroughly, and stuff cabbage leaves as in the basic recipe.
Add a little water or bouillon to mushroom liquid and use in simmering.
