Cabbage with Sweet Peppers
|Shredded green cabbage||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1 , shredded|
|Unsweetened apple juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||1⁄2 Small, sliced|
|White vinegar||1 Teaspoon|
Combine the shredded green cabbage and green pepper.
In a heavy skillet, heat the apple juice to the boiling point.
Add the onion, vinegar, and finally the cabbage and peppers.
Sprinkle with white pepper and braise, covered, for about 15 minutes or until tender.
Remove with a slotted spoon and serve very hot.
