|Onion||1 Small, grated|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Shredded cabbage||1 Large|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Evaporated milk/Heavy cream||2 Tablespoon|
1. Saute onion in butter or margarine in large saucepan 1 to 2 minutes; add cabbage, water and salt; cover; cook quickly 10 minutes, or just until cabbage is crisply tender.
2. Stir in evaporated milk or cream; serve hot.
