Braised Red Cabbage

Ingredients
  Red cabbage head 2 Pound, cored and thinly sliced (1 Head)
  Apple 1 , cored and chopped
  Red wine vinegar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cloves 4 , stuck in 1/2 onion
  Onion 1⁄2 (Stuck With Cloves)
  Bay leaf 1
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Preheat oven to 325°.
Combine all ingredients and bake covered 2 hours, stirring occasionally and adding more water if necessary.
Remove onion and bay leaf before serving.
