Red Cabbage And Red Onions

Ingredients
  Red cabbage head 1 1⁄2 Pound, finely shredded (1 Piece, 750 Gram)
  Red wine vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sweet butter 2 Tablespoon
  Red onions 2 , thinly sliced
  Apples 2 , thinly sliced
  Chicken stock 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Caraway seed 2 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

1. In a large bowl, combine cabbage, vinegar and salt. Let stand 5 minutes.
2. Heat butter in a large skillet. Add cabbage, turning 2 to 3 times. Stir in onions, apples, stock, sugar, caraway and pepper.
3. Cook, covered, over low heat for 1 hour, until cabbage is tender. Serve warm.
