Kielbasa And Red Cabbage
|Red cooking apples||2 Medium|
|Onion||1 Small, diced|
|Head red cabbage||1 Small, thinly sliced|
|Apple juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Red wine vinegar||3 Tablespoon|
|Kielbasa||1 Pound, cut into 2 inch slices (1 Piece)|
1. Dice 1 apple. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot butter, cook onion until tender, stirring occasionally. Add cabbage, apple juice, sugar, vinegar, salt, and diced apple; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
2. Add kielbasa to cabbage mixture; over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Cut remaining apple into wedges; add to mixture; heat through.
