Spring Green Cabbage

The Spring Green Cabbage is simply awesome! The simple flavor of the cabbage is simply mouth watering!! Make this tasty Spring Green Cabbage for your vegan friends! They will love it!
Ingredients
  Young green cabbage heads 2
  Onion 1
  Black pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
  Butter 1⁄2 Tablespoon
Directions

Trim away the coarse leaves.
Cut out the tough ribs that run along the center of the leaves.
Wash well in salted water.
Boil rapidly, with the lid off, in a pan of salted water to which a peeled onion has been added.
If the cabbage is fresh, it will be cooked in 10 to 15 minutes.
Drain well in a colander by pressing a plate on top.
Pepper well and glaze with the melting butter.
This should be eaten immediately.
In parts of Ireland this cabbage is finely chopped after it is drained.
I think this takes away from its appearance.
