Stuffed Cabbage Leaves With Pork
|Pork||1 1⁄2 Pound, chopped|
|Dried mint||1 Teaspoon|
|Onions||2 , chopped|
|Olive oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Raw rice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Saute pork and onions in oil until browned.
Add rice, mint, and salt and pepper.
Parboil large cabbage leaves and roll meat mixture in leaves according to recipe for MACEDONIAN STUFFED CABBAGE.
Place in greased casserole.
Cover with water and large cabbage leaf.
Weigh down with inverted plate.
Cover casserole and cook over low heat for 2 to 3 hours or until done.
