Potted Red Cabbage

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Red cabbage head 1 Medium, shredded
  Apples 2 Medium, sliced
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Cook onion in hot margarine until soft and yellow.
Add cabbage and apples; cover.
Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
Add lemon juice and sugar.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toss lightly
