Ingredients
  Firmly packed brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Molasses/Corn syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine all the ingredients except butter in a saucepan.
Heat slowly until the sugar is dissolved.
Add butter.
Boil over moderate heat without stirring to the hard-crack stage, 300 degrees.
Pour onto a well-buttered marble slab or tray.
Score into pieces while still warm.
When cold, break into pieces along the scored lines.
Wrap pieces in waxed paper and store in a container with a tight-fitting lid.
