|Granulated sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), firmly packed|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped|
|Mixed candied fruits||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), finely chopped|
1. Beat the egg until light in small bowl; beat in the granulated and brown sugar; stir in the flour, salt, vanilla, walnuts and candied fruits.
2. Drop batter from tip of small spatula about 1 1/2 inches apart, on well-greased cookie sheets.
3. Bake in slow oven (325°) 5 minutes, or until golden.
4. Remove from the cookie sheets with a spatula; cool on wire racks.
