Butterscotch Crowns

Ingredients
  Sifted flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Pillsbury's Best Flour - Regular)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Land O'Lakes)
  Granulated sugar/Brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
  Quick-cooking rolled oats 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Cream butter in large mixing bowl.
Gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla extract; beat well.
Stir in rolled oats and dry ingredients; mix well.
Prepare Topping.
Chill dough and Topping at least one hour.
Roll out half of dough on floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness.
Cut into rounds with floured 2 1/2 inch cutter.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Shape Topping into 1/2 to 3/4 inch balls.Place in center of cookie rounds.
Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
