Curried Lamb Prune Burgers
|Ground lamb||1 1⁄4 Pound|
|Ketchup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Snipped dried prunes||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Pepper grains||To Taste|
|Curry powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Soft bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Minced parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Minced onion||2 Tablespoon|
Lightly mix ground lamb, ketchup, and prunes in a bowl.
Blend in a mixture of seasonings.
Add bread crumbs, parsley, and onion; toss lightly to blend.
Shape into 8 patties, fasten a slice of bacon around each, and place on broiler rack.
Broil with top of meat about 5 inches from heat source 6 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
