Double Treat Frank Burgers

Ingredients
  Ground beef 2 Pound
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Ketchup 2 Tablespoon
  Frankfurters 6 , cut in halves lengthwise
  Cheddar cheese strip 6 (About 1/2 Inch Each)
  Dill pickles 3 , cut in quarters lengthwise
  Bottled barbecue sauce 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Lightly toss the ground beef, salt, pepper, and ketchup together.
Form into twelve flat patties.
Place 2 frankfurter halves, cut side down, on each of 6 patties; place a strip of cheese and two pickle strips between the frankfurter halves.
Brush lightly with barbecue sauce.
Top with remaining patties and brush with sauce.
Place frank-burgers, sauce side down, in a broiler basket.
Brush tops with sauce and close broiler basket.
Grill about 3 inches from coals 10 to 15 minutes, frequently turning and brushing with barbecue sauce.
