Scott's Abalone Burgers

Ingredients
  Egg 1
  Dry bread crumbs 375 Milliliter (1 1/2 Cups)
  Onion 1 Small
  Green pepper 1 Small
  Ground abalone meat 1 Pound (500 Grams)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cayenne 1 Dash
  Mayonnaise 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)
  Minced fresh parsley 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)
  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Directions

In a medium bowl beat the egg and add the next 3 ingredients.
Brown the abalone meat in a little butter or margarine in a skillet.
Drain carefully and add to the egg and onion mixture.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Chill the mixture for 1 hour.
Form into small cakes and fry in hot oil. (or saute in a heavy skillet.)
