Triple Cheese Patties

Triple Cheese Patties is a simple and easy to make recipe. It is diffiuclt to explain how delicious this patty is. The rich blend of mellowed flavors of the beef, cheese and herbs is simply heavenly!
  Ground beef 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Dry bread crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onion 1 Small, chopped
  Egg 1
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Basil leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Cottage cheese 6 Tablespoon, creamed
  Parmesan cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), grated
  Tomato sauce 1 Can (10 oz)
  Mozzarella cheese slices 6 , 3 x 3 inches

Mix meat, bread crumbs, onion, egg and seasonings.
Shape mixture into 12 thin pat ties, about 4 inches in diameter.
Top each of 6 patties with 1 tablespoon cottage cheese, spreading to within 1/2 inch of edge; sprinkle with 2 teaspoons parmesan cheese.
Cover each with a remaining patty, sealing edges firmly.
Brown patties in large skillet over medium-high heat, turning once.
Drain off fat.
Pour tomato sauce over patties; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Place a cheese slice on each patty; cover and heat until cheese is melted, about 2 minutes.
Serve sauce over patties.
