Bacon Burger Squares
|Ground beef||2 Pound|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Hamburger buns||8 , split and toasted|
Cook bacon till almost done, but not crisp.
Cut bacon slices in half crosswise.
Pat beef to a 12x6-inch rectangle; cut into 8 squares.
Combine lemon juice and worcestershire; brush over patties.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Arrange in greased wire grill basket.
Place two half slices of bacon crisscrossed atop each burger.
Grill burgers over medium-hot coals till desired doneness, turning often (allow about 20 minutes total time for medium).
Serve on buns.
