Ingredients
  Shredded lettuce 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cucumber 1 Medium, seeded and finely chopped
  Plain yogurt 8 Ounce (1 Cup)
  Sesame seed 1 Tablespoon, toasted
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Dried oregano 1 Teaspoon, crushed
  Dried basil 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Dried rosemary 1⁄4 Teaspoon, crushed
  Ground beef/Ground lamb 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Pita bread 6
Directions

Combine lettuce, cucumber, yogurt, and sesame seed; set aside.
Combine onion, garlic, salt, oregano, basil, and rosemary.
Add ground beef or ground lamb; mix well.
Shape into 6 thin patties, each 5 inches in diameter.
Grill over medium coals till desired doneness, turning once (allow 10 to 12 minutes total time for medium).
Or, broil 3 inches from heat till desired doneness, turning once (allow 8 to 10 minutes total time for medium).
Split each bread round to make a pocket; place a cooked meat patty inside.
Spoon in some lettuce mixture.
