Stilton Burgers on the Grill

Here is a delicious stuffed hammer that has a twist - stuffed with Stilton or Blue cheese and mixed with Celery, adding a unique crunchiness seldom found in hamburgers.

Ingredients

Ground beef 1 Pound (((80/20)))
Onion 3/4 Small , chopped
Pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Celery stalk 1 , chopped
Herbs de provence 1 Teaspoon
Stilton cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Yellow mustard 1 Teaspoon
Burger buns 2 , cut in to half
Lettuce leaves 2 Small
Tomato slice 2 Small

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Prepare the grill.

2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, celery, salt, pepper, herbs de provence and yellow mustard. Mix well using your hands.

3. Divide the meat into four equal parts and prepare relatively thin patties on a flat surface with each portion of the meat as shown in the video.

4. On one of the prepared patty, place half of stilton cheese, cover with the second patty sealing the edges without overworking them. Repeat with the other two patties.

5. Place the prepared patties on the grill and allow to cook, flip and cook on the other side as well.

6. Remove from the grill and place on to a wire rack.

7. Toast the burger buns on the grill.

FINALIZING

8. On the bottom half of the bun, place a lettuce and a slice of tomato. Arrange the patty on it and place the top half of the bun to complete the burger. Repeat with the other patty to form one more burger.

SERVING

9. Serve hot.
