The Burger Dog

A novel, fun and delicious way to change up your ordinary burger! Super easy to make and perfect for summer holidays, picnics and BBQs!
Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 Pound (1/4 pound per burger dog)
  Bacon rashers 4 Large, thinly sliced
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Barbecue rub 1 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Hot dog buns 4 Large
Directions

MAKING
1.Roll 4 ounces or 1/4 pound of ground beef into the shape of a hot dog.
2.Slide a seasoned wooden skewer through the center of each of the burger dogs.
3.Sprinkle with your favorite barbecue rub, salt and pepper.
4.Take a bacon strip and spread it out longer using your fingers.
5.Wrap a bacon strip around each burger dog.
6.Repeat the same with all the burger dogs.

FINALIZING
7.Grill the burger dogs on the barbecue or cook in on a grill pan on top of the stove.

SERVING
8. Place each in a hot dog bun and serve with shredded cabbage and tomatoes.
9. Accompany with your favorite hot dog toppings like mustard, or ketchup.

TIP
Don't forget to soak the wooden skewers in warm water before using them.
