Potted Turkey Burgers
|Ground turkey||12 Ounce|
|Chicken broth||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Divided)|
|Enriched white bread slice||1 , made into crumbs|
|Chopped green onion||1 Tablespoon, scallions|
|Fresh parsley||1 Tablespoon, chopped (Divided)|
|Enriched all purpose flour||1 Teaspoon|
|Dijon style mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
1 In a medium bowl, add turkey, 2 tablespoons broth, bread crumbs, scallion, 2 teaspoons parsley, salt, and pepper;mix well.
2 Form the mixture into 4 patties.
3 In a medium skillet, heat margerine until bubbly.
4 Add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side until done.
5 Transfer to a platter and keep warm.
6 In the skillet, add the flour to the drippings and cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly.
7 Stir in the remining broth and bring to a simmer.
8 Add mustard and Worcestershire sauce and simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce has thickened.
9 Pour the sauce over patties and sprinkle with remining parsley before serving.
