Garlic Basil Burger
|Ground beef||1⁄4 Pound|
|Dry bread crumbs||1 Tablespoon|
|Green onion||1 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried basil leaves||1 Dash|
|Garlic||1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm), finely chopped|
Mix all ingredients except bacon.
Shape into patty [2 patties], about 3/4" thick.
Place on rack in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2" dish.
Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high (550 watts) until almost done, 2 to 3 1/4 min [2 3/4 to 4 min].
Remove from rack; let stand 3 min.
Place bacon on rack in same dish.
Cover loosely and microwave on high (550 watts) until nearly crisp, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 min [1 1/2 to 2 1/2 min]; drain.
Crisscross half slices of bacon on patty [patties].
Garnish with pickles if desired.
