Jumbo Corn Burger
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
|Seasoned tomato sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Canned whole kernel corn||1 Pound, drained (1 Can, 2 Cups)|
|Coarse cracker crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped pimiento||2 Tablespoon|
|Shredded sharp process cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine beef, egg, sauces, and seasonings.
Spread half of mixture in 8-inch shallow round baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients except cheese; spoon over meat.
Cover with remaining meat mixture.
Bake in moderate oven (350°) 40 minutes.
Last 5 minutes, sprinkle with cheese.
Trim with parsley.
