1. Prepare the grill so the coals are medium-hot.
2. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, blending well. Shape the meat mixture into 6 equal thick patties.
3. Place the patties on a grill rack over medium-hot coals. Cover the grill.
4. Grill the burgers for 5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
