Gourmet Lentil Burgers
|Red lentils||3 Ounce, cooked, drained and mashed|
|Instant mashed potato||4 Ounce (125 Gram)|
|Milk||6 Fluid Ounce (185 Milliliter)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Onions spring||4 , finely chopped|
|Garlic||1⁄2 Teaspoon, minced|
|Ground cumin||1 Teaspoon|
|Coriander||1 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Curry powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Bread rolls||4 , split and toasted|
|Yogurt mint sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Natural yogurt||8 Ounce (250 Gram)|
|Mint||1 Tablespoon, chopped|
1. Place lentils, mashed potato, milk, egg, spring onions, garlic, cumin, coriander, curry powder and black pepper to taste in a bowl and mix well.
2. Shape lentil mixture into eight patties and cook under a preheated grill for 5 minutes each side or until golden and heated through.
3. To make sauce, place yogurt and mint in a bowl and mix to combine. Place two patties on the bottom half of each bread roll, then top with sauce.
