Speedy Burger & Rice

  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Chopped onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Beef flavored rice and vermicelli mix 8 Ounce (1 Package)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Hot water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Frozen peas 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sliced pimiento 2 Tablespoon

Crumble beef into 2-quart casserole.
Add onion.
Microwave at High for 4 to 7 minutes, or until beef is no longer pink, stirring once to break apart.
Set aside.
In same casserole, combine rice and vermicelli and butter.
Microwave, uncovered, at High for 4 to 6 minutes, or until vermicelli is light brown, stirring 2 or 3 times.
Stir in water, seasoning packet, salt and pepper.
Microwave at High for 5 to 10 minutes, or until mixture thickens and liquid is partially absorbed.
Mix in beef, peas and pimiento.
Microwave at High for 5 to 7 minutes, or until rice and peas are tender.
