Beef and Bacon Burgers
|Lean ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound (750 Grams)|
|Onions spring||3 , chopped|
|Snipped fresh chives||2 Tablespoon|
|Egg||1 , lightly beaten|
|Tomato sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Chili sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Grated mozzarella cheese||4 Ounce (125 Gram)|
|Bacon rashers||6 , rind removed|
1. Preheat barbecue to a medium heat. Place beef, spring onions, chives, egg, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce and chilli sauce in a bowl and mix to combine. Shape mixture into twelve patties. Top six patties with mozzarella cheese, then with remaining patties and pinch edges together to seal. Wrap a piece of bacon around each pattie and secure with a wooden toothpick or cocktail stick. Place on a plate and refrigerate for 2 hours or until patties are firm.
2. Place patties in a lightly oiled hinged wire barbecue frame and cook on barbecue grill for 10-15 minutes or until patties are cooked to your liking and cheese melts.
