Vegetable Beef Burgers

Ingredients
For meat mixture
  Lean ground sirloin 1 Pound
  Tomato 1 Small, finely chopped
  Onion 1 Medium, finely chopped
  Green bell pepper 1 Small, finely chopped
  Ground black pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Vegetable oil spray 1
For accompaniments
  Whole wheat hamburger buns 6
  Tomato 1 Large, sliced
  Lettuce leaves 6
  Mustard To Taste
  Ketchup To Taste
Directions

Combine ground beef, tomato, onion, green pepper, freshly ground pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
Mix well.
Divide mixture into six portions and shape each into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.
Spray a heavy, nonstick skillet with vegetable oil spray and heat over medium-high heat.
Add beef patties and cook 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until done as desired.
Handle meat patties very carefully to prevent breaking.
Place cooked patties on paper towels and blot to absorb fat.
Serve on buns with tomato, lettuce, mustard and ketchup.
