Chick Pea Patties
|Chick pea flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown rice flour||2 Teaspoon|
|Onion powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Parsley||1 Teaspoon, chopped|
|Baking soda||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Ground coriander||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Mixed herbs||1 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Safflower oil||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Grated zucchini/Carrot||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Mix together the dry ingredients.
Stir in lemon juice, water, and oil.
Add zucchini or carrots.
Form patties with a large spoon or your hands coated with arrowroot.
Heat enough oil in a large pan to cover bottom generously.
Brown patties in oil, turning once.
Drain on paper towels to remove any excess oil.
Keep warm in oven until all are cooked.
Serve with Mushroom Sauce.
This is not a complete protein unless used with brown rice, cheese sauce, or some other complementary protein.
