Pate Burgers

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Onion 1 Small, grated
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cream for whipping 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salad oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Cocktail sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Bottled, Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

1. Mix ground beef with onion, salt, pepper and flour in the large bowl of an electric mixer. Beat until blended, then beat in milk and cream, a tablespoon at a time, until mixture is smooth and paste-like. Cover and chill well. (Two to three hours is best.)
2. Drop meat mixture, a teaspoonful at a time, into hot salad oil in a large frying pan, adding more salad oil, as needed. Cook quickly just until brown; drain on paper toweling.
3. Spear with wooden picks; serve hot with cocktail sauce.
