Hot Dog: Burgers

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Evaporated milk 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Frankfurters 3 , halved lengthwise
  Coney buns 6 , split, toasted, buttered
Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients; shape into 6 flat rectangles (coney-bun size).
Press half a frank into each burger.
Broil 3 inches from heat, turning once, 8 to 10 minutes.
