Baked Ln Beef burger
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Pillsbury Best)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Cooking oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Celery seeds||1 Teaspoon|
|Lean ground beef||1 Pound|
|Soda cracker crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Instant minced onion||2 Tablespoon|
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sage and marjoram in mixing bowl.
Combine water, cooking oil and 1/3 cup tomato sauce.
Add to dry ingredients all at once, stirring until dough clings together.
Knead lightly on floured surface 8 times.
Roll out to a 15x8-inch rectangle.
Spread Filling on dough to within 1/2-inch of 8-inch ends.
Roll as for jelly roll starting with 8-inch end.
Place seam-side down in greased 9x5-inch loaf pan or cookie sheet.
With scissors or sharp knife make 8 slashes down 1/3 through loaf.
Brush with milk; sprinkle with celery seed.
Bake at 375° for 55 to 60 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Turn out of pan onto serving platter.
