Double Wheat Burgers

|1% low fat cottage cheese||120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup, Small Curd)|

|Reduced fat jack cheese||2 Ounce (55 Gram, 4 Thin Slices)|

|Fat free thousand island dressing||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
1. In a large bowl, beat egg and egg whites to blend. Stir in bread crumbs, wheat germ, walnuts, green onions, cottage cheese, parsley, basil, oregano, and paprika. Season to taste with salt.
2. On an oiled 12- by 15-inch (30- by 38-cm) baking sheet, shape mixture into 4 equal patties, each about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick. Broil patties about 3 inches (8 cm) below heat, turning once, until deep golden on both sides (about 6 minutes). Top each patty with a slice of jack cheese and continue to broil just until cheese is melted.
