Herbed Turkey Burgers
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm)|
|Parsley sprigs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), packed|
|Ground turkey||1 Pound|
|Fine breadcrumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Unseasoned)|
|Dijon mustard||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Olive oil/Other vegetable oil||1 Teaspoon|
1 In a food procesor, mince the onion, garlic and parsley.
2 In a medium bowl, combine the minced vegetables with the turkey, breadcrumbs, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, egg white, oregano and pepper, and mix to blend well.
3 Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form them into patties 1/2 inch thick.
4 In a large nonstick skillet, warm the oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking. Add the turkey patties and cook until well browned on both sides, 3 to 5 minutes for the first side and 2 to 4 minutes for the second side.
