Turkey Burgers With Sage And Onion
|Ground turkey||1 Pound|
|Yellow onion||1 Small, grated, drained, and squeezed dry|
|Minced fresh sage/1 teaspoon ground sage||1 Tablespoon|
|Soft whole wheat bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1 Preheat the broiler, setting the rack 6 inches from the heat.
In a medium-size bowl, combine the turkey, onion, sage, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper.
With moistened hands, form the mixture into 4 patties.
2 Place the patties on a lightly greased broiler pan and broil for 5 minutes.
Turn the patties over and broil 5 minutes more or until the juices run clear when a patty is pricked with a fork.
