Sticky Bun

Sticky buns are dessert or breakfast pastries that get their name from the sticky lining that has to be given to the baking pan prior to baking along with nuts, almonds and raisins thrown in. After baking, they are inverted so that make the bottom lining of nuts and almonds becomes a topping. Sticky buns though widely western in western countries now, are said to be of German origin.
