Broiled Breakfast Buns

Ingredients
  English muffins 4 , split and lightly toasted
  Butter To Taste
  Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Soft)
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Sweetened rhubarb sauce 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), drained
  Orange peel 1 Teaspoon, grated
  Pecans/Almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), coarsely chopped
Directions

Thickly spread muffin halves with butter.
Mix together margarine and sugar, creaming well.
Add vanilla, rhubarb, and orange peel, and blend.
Spread mixture on muffin halves and then sprinkle with nuts.
Broil under broiler until bubbling hot.
Makes 8 rich breakfast buns.
