Ginger Buns

Ingredients
  Butter 3 Ounce
  Castor sugar 3 Ounce
  Ginger syrup 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 Large, beaten
  Self rising flour 4 Ounce
  Mixed peel 2 Ounce, finely chopped
  Ginger 1 Ounce, chopped
  Icing sugar 4 Ounce, sifted
  Ginger syrup 4 Tablespoon
  Ginger slice 12
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Take twelve bun tin measuring 2.5" and grease them with lard

MAKING
2. Cream together butter, sugar and ginger syrup until fluffy
3. Beat in the egg too, slowly, and fold in flour, chopped peel and ginger too
4. This mixture is now to be divided between the bun tins prrepared earlier
5. Bake in the oven for half an hour 350°F; when done, turn it out and cool on a wire rack

SERVING
6. Serve as per your likes
