Barbecued Franks In A Bun

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Tomato sauce 16 Ounce (Two 8 Ounce Each Cans)
  Molasses 1 Tablespoon
  Cider vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Prepared mustard 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Basil leaf 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crumbled
  Frankfurters 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Frankfurter buns 12 , toasted and buttered
Directions

1. Saute onion in butter or margarine just until soft in large skillet. Stir in tomato sauce, molasses, vinegar, mustard, salt and basil; simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes.
2. Arrange frankfurters in sauce; cover, simmer 10 minutes, or until puffed and bubbly-hot.
3. Place frankfurters in the buns; spoon sauce over them.
