Sweet Bun Dough is a unique and winning dough used to make flavored Bun that is perfect for your brunch or any other meal at home. Surprise your family with irresistible buns made from this Sweet Bun Dough. I am sure they will love it!
Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Warm water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Active dry yeast 1
  All purpose flour 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Shortening 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix sugar and warm water in a small bowl.
Sprinkle yeast over sugar water.
Stir to dissolve.
Place flour in a large bowl.
Make a well in the center.
Slowly pour in yeast mixture.
Add shortening.
Mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon.
Turn out onto a floured surface.
Knead about 5 minutes until dough is smooth and elastic.
Dough will be firm.
Place in a large bowl and cover with a damp cloth and a lid.
Let rise in a warm place about 3 hours until doubled in bulk.
Turn out onto a floured surface.
Cover with a cloth and let stand 3 to 5 minutes.
Dough is ready to use.
Makes enough dough for 20 to 24 buns.
