Rock Buns

Rock Buns is flavored buns. Rock Buns gets its taste from dried fruit, and eggs. Rock Buns is can be served with appetizers.
Ingredients
  Flour 8 Ounce
  Dried fruit 6 Ounce
  Margarine 5 Ounce
  Sugar 5 Ounce
  Egg 1
  Peel 2 Ounce, candied
Directions

Sieve flour and baking powder together.
Rub in margarine, add sugar, beaten egg and enough milk to make a stiff consistency.
Be careful not to make the mixture too soft or the buns will spread badly.
Add the fruit and peel.
Grease and flour baking tins and put small heaps of the mixture on these, dusting lightly with sugar.
Bake for 10 minutes near the top of a hot to very hot oven (450-475°F.€”Gas Mark 7-8).
If the oven is inclined to be rather fierce, lower the heat after the first 5 minutes.
