Orange Sticky Buns
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Refrigerated dough||18 Ounce (1 Package, Fresh, For Fantan Rolls)|
Put orange peel and pulp through fine blade of food chopper.
Mix orange with sugar in a saucepan and bring to boiling; boil 5 minutes.
Spoon about 2 teaspoons of orange-sugar mixture into each of 12 greased small muffin-pan wells.
Separate roll dough into 12 pieces and put one in each well.
Pull sections of each roll apart slightly and drizzle remaining orange-sugar mixture between the sections.
Bake rolls as directed on package.
Remove from oven and turn pan upside down on wire rack; let cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove pan.
If desired, frost with a confectioners' sugar icing while warm.
