Chocolate Raisin Brownies

These chocolate raisin brownies are prepared with chocolate and raisins. Baked with a batter of sugar, eggsm flour and shortenening, the chocolate raisin brownies are moist and delclectble desserts.
Ingredients
  Shortening 6 Tablespoon
  Granulated sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Unsweetened chocolate square 2
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Sifted pastry flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Cream butter and sugar.
Add melted chocolate, then the well beaten eggs.
Sift in flour and salt.
Add raisins and vanilla.
Spread in a greased 8 inch square pan.
Bake in a slow oven 300F 30 minutes.
Leave in pan to cool then cut in squares.
This makes a moist brownie.
