This brownies recipe is a cake type brownie dessert recipe. Baked with walnuts and flour along with eggs, sugar and chocolate, these bronies can be served with a dollop of vanilla ice cream for the best taste. they also go along great with a glass of milk.
Ingredients
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Unsweetened chocolate square 2 Ounce
  Enriched flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), sifted
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Broken california walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Melt shortening and chocolate together over hot water cool.
Sift together flour baking powder and salt.
Beat eggs till light; stir in sugar then blend in chocolate mixture; stir in flour mixture, vanilla, and nuts.
Pour into greased 8x8x2 inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool; cut in 16 squares
