Butter | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , melted | |
Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
Eggs | 2 | |
All | purpose flour | |
Baking cocoa | 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
Baking powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Milk | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Chocolate | covered thin mint cookies |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
MAKING
2. In a bowl, beat together butter, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed.
3. Add in eggs, one at a time, and beat after each addition until fully combined.
4. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
5. Slowly add in flour mixture to the butter mixture and beat well until blended.
6. Stream in the milk and beat well to combine.
7. Add in the crushed cookies and fold lightly.
8. In a lightly greased 9”x9” baking pan, pour and spread the batter evenly, and bake in oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
FINALIZING
9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
SERVING
10. Cut in squares and serve as desired.
